excursions. From blasting bazaars of multi cultural and the

LUNCH
/DINNER AT THE CARNIVORE RESTAURANT
Here is an opportunity to taste virtually every type
of roast, barbequed or skewered meat imaginable,
including wild game.
This is one of Africa’s greatest eating experiences. |
HALF
DAY-KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM AND GIRAFFE CENTRE TOUR
Upon arrival you feel you are on the set of out of
Africa as you visit the simple colonial farm house full
of items that Karen Blixen chose and touched herself.
From here visit the giraffe centre, where the highly
endangered Roth’s child giraffe lives in peace. With an
elevated viewing come feeding platform, this tour is
wonderful for children. |
HALF
DAY NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK TOUR
Just ten Kilometers from the city centre this is Kenya’s
oldest park. With over five hundred varieties of birds
and more than 100 mammal species, it makes a great early
morning or late afternoon excursion away from the hustle
and bustle of the city. Common citing include zebra,
giraffe, buffalo, ostrich, gazelle, hippo, vulture lark
rhino and the Lion. |

MOMBASA
EXCURSION
Full day Mombasa City tour, with a fascinating history dating
back to 200 A.D. Mombasa is the largest port in east Africa.
Your day takes you down a maze of cobbled streets, past
overhanging balconies and through mysterious doorways to markets
filled with exotic species of fruits and colorful fabrics. Visit
the Akamba wood carvers and enjoy lunch on the tamarind dhow. In
the late afternoon, visit Haler park, a former quarry now
re-forested and stocked with animals. Half day tours are also
available.

TAMARIND
EVENING DHOW TRIP
Sipping sundowners and nibbling appetizers you sail to Tudor
creek. The evening on board the Arab dhow includes a delightful
meal prepared by the chefs from the Tamarind restaurant and a
live band, playing popular tunes fro dancing under a canopy of
stars.

FULL
DAY WASINI – KISITE
Departing by the splinted dhow, the
day is focused on relaxation, surroundings and a little in
history. Highlights include, snorkeling, in Kisite marine park
to sport, dolphins and possible turtles, looking at marine life
from a glass bottomed boat, eating fresh sea food for lunch, a
historical tour around Wasini fishing village and perhaps some
relaxation and swaying trees.

OVERNIGHT
AT SHIMBA HILLS
About an hours drive from Mombasa,
shimba is covered by beautiful forest foliage and feels cooler
than the coast. Your afternoon game drive may include citing of
elephant buffalo, rhino and giraffe, and if you are lucky, the
rare antelope, called Sable. Spent the evening relaxing in the
romance of the lodge. Depart the next day after breakfast.

OVERNIGHT
EXCURSION TO MWAZARO BEACH
This two day
excursion is truly a cultural experience where guests will enjoy
time with members of the Diggo tribe. An excursion through the
Ramisi river delta system and a dhow trip to Kisite marine park.
There is even the possibility of snorkeling with turtles and
dolphins. The food is fresh and delightful and accommodation 1st
class.

FORT
JESUS BY NIGHT
We depart by traditional dhow as the sun sets over the Indian
ocean then from the old dhow harbor a short guided walk brings
you through the old town of fort Jesus built by the Portuguese
in 1593. Here a vibrant evening includes excellent cuisine and
the re-enactment of east Africa’s history in an extravagant
show.
